The Altore is a fascinating bird, considered to be the largest eagle in Corsica. Its size and majestic plumage make it easily recognizable and has made it a true emblem of the island. A treasure trove of biodiversity, Corsica has an incredible diversity of landscapes and is home to many animal species. It has been a land of refuge for many endangered birds, such as the Altore. To pay tribute to this sublime animal, Maria has designed a unique 18-carat gold earring with its effigy. The eagle's wings are paved with a long cascade of diamonds and the eye is enhanced with a ruby or emerald.
