ART & MANNER

« MARIA BATTAGLIA,
GOLD AND STYLE” »

At the origin of every Maria Battaglia jewel lies first a vision, then the hand that brings it to life, a graceful duet between the designer and the artisan, from the first sketch to the final touch. Each creation is the expression of multiple talents: those of the smelters, gilders, gem cutters...

Each model begins with a drawing. Once the lines have been finalised and the proportions weighed up, the artisans take over and bring the models to life. Driven by their craft and a love of a job well done, they cast, assemble, set, gild and patinate with perfect mastery of their skills. Every detail is carefully crafted according to the rules of the jeweller's art, which requires patience and high precision. It is from this work of excellence that each piece in the Maria Battaglia collection is born.

In a world where craftsmanship seems to be succumbing to the law of automation, Maria's jewellery is a tribute to time and irreplaceable human expertise. It demonstrates an extraordinary ability to create exceptional pieces and an exquisite taste for precious materials. Raw and fascinating, as rare as they are mysterious, each of the gems and stones set in Maria Battaglia's creations is selected with the utmost care for its purity, brilliance, nuances and subtleties.

Maria Battaglia is committed to promoting a vision of jewellery that reconciles heritage and innovation. To make this alliance possible, she has entrusted the creation of her jewellery to workshops specialising in metal remelting. Renowned for their jewellery expertise, these workshops combine a perfect mastery of new technologies that enable them to create exceptional fine jewellery pieces from recycled gold. The melted gold then gives life to a new creation.

Maria Battaglia is a designer of her time. To achieve the level of excellence she seeks, she collaborates with artisans who are skilled in precision technologies. Vacuum lost wax casting, laser cutting and 3D printing casting are integrated into the manufacturing process and combined with more traditional techniques, such as hand setting. A perfect balance between tradition and modernity that offers impeccable quality in the creation of jewellery.
